GREGG L. DANIEL

Mr.Daniel is the co-founder of Rainstorm Entertainment. A member of the Producers Guild of America and a graduate of the American Film Institute's producing fellowship program, Mr. Daniel began his career as assistant to the director on the Glenn Close film MAXIE. He has held production posts at The Walt Disney Company, coordinating visual effects for George Lucas and Francis Ford Coppola on CAPTAIN EO, served as a studio liaison on numerous Touchstone Film productions, and worked in the production departments of Jim Abrahams BIG BUSINESS, Garry Marshall’s BEACHES, and Steven Spielberg’s ALWAYS. He was the producer of TERROR TRACT, starring John Ritter, which premiered on the USA Network and won the “Silver Raven” and “Prize of the Audience” awards at the Brussels International Festival of Fantasy Films. Daniel was the producer of THE BIG EMPTY, which was one of ten American films selected to premiere at AFI Fest and was selected as one of the best films of the year by the website Ain’t It Cool News. Mr. Daniel is Executive Producer on Tom Putnam’s World War II documentary RED WHITE BLACK AND BLUE, which explores the little known Japanese invasion of Alaska. Gregg also Executive Produced the provocative documentary about everyone's favorite four letter word, FUCK, released theatrically by THINKFilm. As Vice President of Launchpad Releasing, Daniel has also supervised the domestic release of KIDS IN AMERICA on 700 screens. An avid sports fan, Gregg spends his spare time rooting for the Lakers and Dodgers and traveling with his wife Leslie. Mr. Daniel is also one of the founders of the charity THE LILI CLAIRE FOUNDATION, which supports the families of children born with neurogenetic birth conditions.
